An empty reproduction replacement Matchbox Lesney 14 c Lomas Bedford Ambulance Repro C Style Box.
The C style boxes featured new artwork commonly with the line art of the model filled in with all red ink. The main change was the branding change from “Moko Lesney” to just “A Lesney” in the scroll banner on the main face.
A Matchbox King Size 3a Caterpillar D.9 Bulldozer D Style Repro Box.
The first 4 King Size models were issued in 1960. These boxes have the term LESNEY in the scroll and that aligns with the C style boxes for the 1 to 75 1:64 scale models. Subsequent boxes for the D.9 include the D and E styles which ran up until Matchbox introduced window boxes.
There are 3 box variants are available for this model, C, D and E styles. There was a long-running production life for this model.
