Matchbox Lesney 8 c Caterpillar Tractor Repro C Style Box.
Suits the all yellow 1 7/8″ long model with driver.
The earlier models were in light or dark yellow or orange colours. The later 8 c model is larger at 1 7/8″ long and 8 d larger again at 2″.
The Caterpillar Tractor models:
- 8a: 1 1/2″ Long – short tracks – small box – 2 different images
- 8b: 1 5/8″ Long – short tracks – larger box
- 8c: 1 7/8″ Long – long tracks – larger box – 1 image issued as both B & C style boxes
- 8d: 2″ Long – long tracks – larger box – D style colour box
