The first issue of this box has New on the front face above the model number #59 but no model name and no Superfast logo. The model name appears are Mercury Fire Chief on the end flaps only referenced as 59 e1.
This later, second issue, referenced as 59 e2 which has a Superfast logo and Fire Chief Car as the model name on the main panels.

Matchbox Lesney 15d Volkswagen 1500 F Style Repro Box.
Produced from 1968 the VW 1500 was dressed in rally style with RN#137 on the doors.
This is a Matchbox Lesney F style reproduction box which is the only one for the regular wheel model. Later issues were with Superfast wheels.

The second issue of this model using the box art for the 13a 51mm (1955-1957). This is for the 13b 54mm (1958 – 1959) Bedford Tow Truck.
Later the Bedford was superceded by the Thames Trader Tow Truck 13c.
The B style boxes featured all of the 1 to 75 model range with “Moko Lesney” in block text in the main face scroll.
A reproduction Matchbox Lesney Superfast 62 e Mercury Rat Rod G Style Repro Box.
The G Style Boxes were the first style of Superfast box. Earlier Superfast boxes were transitional and included a mix of regular wheels and superfast wheel models and labelling.

The first issue of this model is the 13a 51mm (1955-1957). A longer version is the 13b 54mm (1958 – 1959) Bedford Tow Truck.
