This model is the one of the original releases from 1956 and this is the second series B style box with the model number on the end flap highlighted with a white circle.
There are two front face images for the #9a with this one being the earliest of the two which we reference as 9a1.
The B series box issues saw the change over of this image to our reference 9a2 and this image was continued on the C series of YesterYear boxes.
This box combination of #9a1 and B style may not have been originally issued. It is a custom format consistent with the rest of the B issue boxes for the first issue Models of Yesteryear.
